OMLA HOME Back to Get Involved page Award Nomination Form Oregon Middle Level Association Each year, at OMLA’s annual conference, we confer awards on a group of individuals who have distinguished themselves through their efforts to make middle schools a better place for early adolescents to learn. Read the curricula for the awards on our OMLA Awards page and then fill in this page and submit to OMLA. Help give a deserving person their due! The awards we present are: Dave Putnam Award - OMLA’s educator of the year award. Awarded to one educator a year. John Pence Award - OMLA’s recognition of contributions to the advancement of middle school education. Awarded to up to 7 persons a year. Patti Kenney Award - OMLA’s recognition of distinguished service to the advancement of middle school education at the local, state and National level. Pete Lorain Award - OMLA’s recognition of a lifetime of service to the advancement of middle school education at the local, state and National level. |
